Suprabhatam
Suprabhatam is a daily seva followed at the Venkateshwara temple at Tirumala Tirupati every day to awaken lord Venkateshwara. Basically Suprabhatam connotes Sanskrit hymns recited to awaken the lord in the morning. It is a seva which is very popular and holds a special importance in Tirupati. Without the performance of this seva any other seva or Darshans cannot be performed. Suprabhatam hymns are also played by many Tamil, Kannada and Telugu people every day in their houses for tranquility.
During the performance of Suprabhatam (awakening of the lord), Suprabhatam, Stotram, Prapatti and Mangalasasanam slokas are recited, and a descendant of Tallapaka Annamacharya sings a few of Annamacharya’s sankeertanas respectively. This is a very serene seva and is followed every day with devotees filled with great belief for the lord in their hearts.
The seva is a very auspicious occasion for any of the devotee and hence, always remains booked. The seva ticket can be booked online through e seva booking on internet.
Due to heavy rush of people, it is advisable to the devotees that they book their ttd e seva online booking well in advance. Otherwise the availability of the ticket could be a problem.
E seva Tirupati can be booked in a advance of maximum 60 days and minimum of 3 days. The ticket fare is Rs. 120 each and children below 10 years cannot participate in this seva. Also the e seva timings are 2:30 a.m. while the reporting time is 2:00 a.m.
After the seva the devotees get prasadam in the form of 2 small ladoos. It is believed that these ladoos are bestowed with the love and blessings of the lord Venkateshwara.
Also the devotees present at the time of Suprabhatam can have the Lord’s Suprabhata Darsanam, also called Viswarupa Sarvadarsanam.
Apart from the Suprabhatam seva, Tomala seva and Archana seva are also performed daily in the Tirupati temple.

I want to book tickets for Suprabhatam on MArch 8th 2010, ticket is available. When i select Suprabhatam and click continue i am getting message “Unable to process the request, Please try again.” and I am not able to proceed always.
Also, I have a kid, 12 years of age. Please let me know how i can book ticket for him, as I do not have Driving Licence/Passport ID Proof for him.

Andal Tiruppavai to replace Suprabhatam in Tirumala Shrine from Dec 16th 2010 TO Jan 15 Dec, 2011
The Andal Tiruppavai will replace Suprabhatam for a month from December 16 to January 15 with the advent of Dhanurmasam, the important month in traditional Hindu calendar as the sun transits through the Dhanur Rashi (Sagittarius) and the period ends with the Makar Sankranti.
Dhanur masa is also known as Marghazhi or Margasira month since it is during this time, Sri Andal or Goda Devi penned about 30 Pasurams in the praise of Lord of Lords. Like the cowherd girls who won the heart of Lord Sri Krishna by performing Katyayani Vratam , Andal did
Margasira Vratam to please Lord Venkateswara. Hence the holy month of Dhanur is also known as Margasira month.
Every day during this month, the temple priests recite the 30 Andal pasurams along with Tondaradippodi Alwar’s 10 pasurams written in Tirupalli Ellichi in the place of Suprabhatam to wake up the Lord.
You can book Suprabhatam post 15th Jan 2011.
