Sri Balaji Archana seva scheme
The Sri Balaji Archana seva scheme is a wonderful scheme enabled by TTD. TTD is the board that manages all the functions of the Tirupati temple. Under this scheme, a devotee is facilitated to attend Archana Seva on a day of his choice each year continuously for a period of 5 years. For attaining this facility, the devotee has to donate a sum of about Rs. 6000. After the payment of this amount, the donor will be permitted to choose any day of the year for Archana Seva.
If the donor chosen day is Friday of any year, then he/she will be allowed to perform the Archana seva on the following day. The donor can take 2 persons with him for the seva every year.
Apart from this magnificent opportunity, the donor will also be enabled with some special privileges every year. These are as follows:-
The donor will get free accommodation for a period of 24 hours in Tirupati on the day selected by him for the seva.
Including the donor, three persons will be allowed for the Archana seva in the Tirupati temple on the selected day for the performance of the seva every year.
Three persons will be allowed for Suprabhata seva.
TTD Archana seva is one among the most renowned sevas in Tirupati temple. Basically Archana seva is performed after the completion of the Thomala seva. The seva also known as Sahasranamarchana performed amidst chanting of his 1000 names after which blessings are obtained for the entire world. The entire ritual lasts for near about 30 minutes.
Although, there are a lot of sevas in Tirupati, that are performed on a daily basis. But Archana seva holds a place of its own and is considered to be very important.
The Archana seva is performed at varied timings of the day. the timings of each seva can be viewed by pressing on the e seva Darshan timings.

Its very unfortunate one of a poor man was denied free prasadam at your temple on 08 Dec 09, I found that man requested repeatedly but the brahmins /workers distributing were very greedy of their deeds.
I feel very pity about this , I think the first right for prasadams are specially meant for poor /childrens. I know this was not the complete meal but he / child should be able to sustain its hungry.
If really it was not meant for commercial purpose.

Regarding Internet tickets for Suprabatham, Thomala and Archana Seva

I just want to inform you that i am a regular visitor to Tirumala from past 25 years and by Lord’s grace has been able to see almost all sevas performed in Tirumala temple and has used TTD internet booking of seva tickets also from beginning when it was intially launched 7-8 years back.
Coming to the issue:- Recently on 13th December midnight TTD has released internet tickets quota for first 2 days it was available from 14th midnight when tickets are released for March 2011 in midnight at 12.00 am when i tried to open the website TTdsevaonline.com , it was not opening at all till 12.25 ,i was getting “Internet explorer not able to open the page” then finally when it opened all sevatickets of Suprabatham, thomala and archana was not available.I assumed due to heavy demand server might be very busy and i could not get connected so on 15th December i logged in to website at 10.30am itself kept the account open from 10.30 and refreshing every 15 minutes the screen till 12.00am at 12.03 am i could see seva tickets showing green — available in availabilty chart but when i clicked for March 16th the page was in refreshing stage till 12.25am, i tried 3-4times to refresh but it was in same status showing 0 for all tickets availbilty till 12.25 am then it was accesible with only Kalyonatsvam tickets available and asusual Suprabatham, thomala, archana tickets not available.
I tried again on December 16th night — same status..! I am aware that very limited tickets for these 3 sevas like 10 for thomala and archana each and 25-30 for suprabatham is released in internet quota but i have a doubt that something is worong in this system whether a technical glitch or most likely the net system is tampered by some one at the realese time and booked by some one of course still following all the mandatory requirements of booking aticket in internet quota.I express my doubt in this manner because this problem is not unique to me but this was experienced by other 2 friends who tried to book tickets on the same date as we planned to go as friends group, even my friends on first day could not open the site itself at 11.50 pm in night and as suggested by me they also logged in 1 hour before for next consecutive days and tried they also faced similar problem and could not book a single ticket.So i feel defiently these seva ticket are tampered by some one as these are highly demanded tickets and even though there is peak rush to book these tickets atleast the website will show the availiblity and allow us to proceed to book the ticket till payment gate way and if the tickets are booked and not available at payment confirmation, the payment is automatically reversed and shows tickets are not available or payment gateway failure message is displayed but here in current scenario it is not allowing you to click the option of availbilty date to select and proceed further..!
I feel we should report this to current Executive officer Mr Krishna Rao who is a very good EO and doing lot of good work in improving and understanding common pilgrim difficulties and requirements.I tried to get his direct phone number but could not succeed in it,so if some one who reads this and has easy/good access to Executive officer of TTD should report this so that TTD can find/investigate if any scam involved in it or any technical glitch in the booking process where only few are able to access the server at that time due to heavy load so that can problem can be solved and all can get a chance to book these 3 sevas also.
From myside and my friends our personal computers we have got very fast internet connection with latest Internet explorer and other requirements like Javascript enabled and rest required technical upgradation for booking TTD seva online tickets.So no problem in our system but defintely some problem in TTD server which needs to be addressed.
Regarding Balaji Archana Scheme i heard that the scheme was stopped long back and will not be available in future, i dont know the exact information but decison is always with TTD trust regarding it.
Lets see if the above internet ticket problem reaches TTD officials and gets rectified.Everything happens as per Lord Venkateshwar’s wish.

We live in USA and planning to visit Tirupathi in April 1st week, 2011. I understand that on-line seva booking will be available 90 days in advance. But, quota for April is not yet released.
Can some one tell me when is the quota for April will be released?

I don’t find Sahasra Deepa Archna on the online seva booking list. What is the procedure for booking that seva?

I am visiting Tirumala every year through DVD scheme for the last 8 years, today i receive a letter stating that i have to give photographs of people attending seva with me and the deadline is 31 january and that to in person, how can we come to Tiruma with just two days left for the deadline, one should be informed atleast well in advance or atleast accept the photographs by courier service atleast. Please reconsider the last date as we have to travel 300 kms to reach there and working days its difficult to come and only two days time left.please understand our difficulties also.

we too have a similar problem as PRAKASH.C. How is it possible to do it in such a short span of time? And not all family members other than the the donor has photo identity and the darshan confirmation letter now says that everybody should bring photo identity for darshan.
