Special Darshans at Tirupati

Holiday season is catching fire and so is the rush at various hill stations and pilgrimages. One such pilgrimage that is experiencing a huge rush is Tirumala Tirupati. The Tirupati temple is located 64 kms away from the Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is a highly worshipped and believed temple all over the world. Although there is always rush of pilgrims over here, but due to the ongoing holiday season this toll has increased drastically.

In order to control and manage the pilgrims at Tirupati, TTD has built many special Darshans so that the physically challenged and aged who come at the temple to seek God’s blessings and shelter. This service was started few years back when ttd, a board that manages the functions at Tirupati temple realized the difficulty of the physically challenged and aged people in seeking Darshans.

So therefore, in order to help these people, TTD started with a new service for them which is known as special Darshan at Tirupati. This service is just for the handicapped and aged people. In this, these people are allowed to enter the temple from a separate gate. This enables them to seek Darshans of the Lord Venkateshwara without following any line. Though, no other person is allowed with them. If necessary an attendant accompanies them.

Although there are special timings for this Darshan and hence, this should be checked in advance before going to the temple. You can check the Darshan timings by clicking on Darshan timings at Tirupati.

Apart from the special Darshans there are many other types of Darshans and sevas available at Tirupati. For these tickets have to be booked in advance. You can book your Darshan tickets through Tirupati Darshan ticket booking available online through internet.

Similarly, for TTD online booking you just need to log on to the internet and do the needful. It is advisable to book all the Darshan and seva tickets in advance as due to heavy rush at Tirupati temple, there is often hue and cry over there.

    1. Create your Login ID and Password (For that, please keep your photo ID ready to upload)
    2. Check your availability of the same for seva you need tickets for and also, you can book accommodation online on this website.
    3. Print your etickets

    This special darshan is arranged for the physically disabled and the aged, the infants along with parents through a separate gate at the Maha Dwaram,the main temple entrance. If necessary, such pilgrims can be accompanied by an attendant. To be honest, please confirm once again by calling at T.T.D Call Center(24/7) Ph: 0877-2277777, 2233333 & Toll free No: 18004254141 or visit to your nearest TTD reservation counter in your city.

    You can only have darshan for the tickets you have booked, since Balaji darshan in the main temple are for everyone you can indeed have that darshan but subject to devotees rush at that point in time,

    i belongs to delhi. we are visiting for darshan on 8th oct, 2010. we are three person and on kid aged 4 year. how could we get quick darshan ticket of rs. 300/-. whether ticket will be required for kid aged 4 years. whether finger prints and photo id of all the person required at the time of booking. whether i can book tikcket for all the person by internet with one id only.
    also tell if i book for 10 am-11 am darshan. when will i reach tirumula. we will be staying at tirupati.

    There is only one answer and i.e. Yes to all your question you have raised. Yes you need to book for your kid, Yes all devotees need to present their photo IDs at the time of booking.

We have checked for you and it seems that none of the seva tickets are available in November as per the online reservation system. However, in Dec. Kayanotsavam is available on 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 21, 23, 23, 28, 29, 30 Dec. After booking your darshan tickets, you can go for accommodation booking on the same site mentioned above.

    we have planned to suprabatham dharshan in february 2010. I don’t have PAN card or Voter ID or Passport or Driving license. Whereas i have bank account(central bank of india).MY parents having voter id and ration card. My name is included in ration card. for registration i have seen only PAN card,Voter ID,Passport,Driving license in photo proof. i don’t know wat to do. kindly help us

    We have donor darshan for 5 members for this year scheduled. But we have received the Darshan confirmation letter saying that all the family members need to produce photo identity during darshan. Did anybody come across this? Is it mandatory for all memebers to produce photo identity? Not all members would have idenetity. may be only a couple of them might be able to produce.

    i tried booking two tickets for e-sudarshanam(10am -11am) through the online website ttdsevaonline.com…the transaction was sucesful but the bookin is not visible on my acount or in my mail..i tried repeating the procedure but the problem persists..the transactions of Rs.100 were successful eacch time but no signs of ticket.

    Just want to check, in all the special seva, they mentioned in the website like: the ticket holders are also sent for the darshan of the main deity in the sanctum sanctorum. This means, they ticket holders are directly enter via main gate or they have to wait in the queue for the darshan?

    Dear Mani.

    If the ticket is received at the e-ticket counter, all the persons should be there. The photos and finger prints of all the persons are registered.

    It is a must.

    Because when I went last time the finger print of my cousin and his father are interchaningly matched and could not make the dharshan.

    So it is a must to get all the persons finger print and photos are registered and that to correctly.
