Divya Darshans

Locate on the seventh hill of the Tirumala hills, the Tirupati temple is a beautifully carved structure which is also one of the most believed temples in the world. There are many tourists and pilgrims that come from far away to seek Darshans of the sacred lord Venkateshwara. It is not a surprise that the Tirupati temple receives the highest donations on any given day of the year, as it is visited by almost 10000 pilgrims every day.

Due to the heavy rush at Tirupati, there is always hue and cry of people for Darshan booking and seva bookings. Therefore, it is advisable to the pilgrims that they book each and every ticket related to accommodation, Darshans, return bus or train tickets in advance only. You can book your Darshan tickets by using the online Darshan ticket booking facility on internet.

Apart from this, TTD has introduced many types of TTD Darshans so that the pilgrims could avail any type of Darshans and the heavy rush could be controlled. One among these Darshans is the Divya Darshan facility.

Under the Divya Darshan Tirupati facility, Darshans are allowed to all those pedestrians and pilgrims who come to Tirupati travelling by foot through Gali Gopuram or Srivari Mettu. These pedestrians are given special Darshans of the lord Venkateshwara and are given food to eat. Also for these pedestrians, biometric counters are established and given to them. Availing this, the pedestrians have access to free food, free accommodation (P.A.C) and free Darshans at Tirupati.

TTD Divya Darshan is a great facility started by the Tirupati board to facilitate the pedestrians who travel by foot to Tirupati. It is indeed a very great gesture on the part of TTD.

Apart from this, there are several other paid and non paid types of Darshans started by TTD in Tirupati. The details of which could be checked on the internet. Also each type of Darshan has its own timings which can be checked by clicking on the Darshan timings.

TTD Online Darshan booking can be done on the internet. The Darshans can be booked in advance of minimum 3 days and maximum of 60 days.

    Please tell me where we can get Divya Darshan Tickets if we go by walk. Which place are we supposed to collect the tickets and after how long would the ticket be valid? can we reach on time by staircase or will we miss the darshanam for that particular day for which we would be given tickets?
